Absolute total cross sections for electron scattering on the D20 molecule have been measured with two apparatuses in two distinct laboratories. The energy coverage of the two measurements spans from 0.4 to 2700 eV. The D20 cross section is compared with previous measurements on H20. A short discussi

Absolute total cross sections for electron scattering from nitrogen dioxide have been measured in a linear transmission experiment from 0.6 to 220 eV. A minimum cross section occurs around 3 eV followed by a very broad maximum near 10 eV, with monotonic decrease at higher energies.

Measurements are made on water vapour in the energy range 0.5-80 eV to give absolute total electron-scattering cross sections. The total cross section function obtained increases sharply at energies below 3 eV and shows a structureless, very broad flat maximum around 9 eV. The results presented here

The absolute total cross section for electron-CH3Br scattering has been measured in a wide energy range (from 0.4 to 250 eV) by the linear transmission method. At the lowest investigated energies the cross section increases rapidly when the energy decreases. A shallow minimum of the total cross sect
