✦ Synopsis
New experiments based on resonant multiphoton ionization spectroscopy have allowed the observation of Ar-NO and Ar-NO+ ground states. We present a new theoretical method, using a CIPSI approach, to calculate the ground state potential surfaces of X-NO+ complexes (X=He, Ar), which gives results in good agreement with experiment.

Optimised geometries and harmonic vibrational frequencies for possible products and intermediates of the reaction of BH2 with NO, calculated at the HF/6-31G\* level of theory, are presented. Energies calculated using these optimised geometries at the HF, MP2 and MP4SDQ levels of theory are given.
Ab initio MO calculations have been performed for neutral and cationic CzHzFz structures. Olefinic and carbene structures are investigated for the neutral isomers, while olefinic, carbene, and fluoronium-type cations are found. The potential energy curves, dipole, quadrupole, octopole and hexadecapole moment functions of the ground X 'Z+ state of NO+ have been calculated at Hartree-Fock, CASSCF, MR-CI and MP2 levels using a [ Ss6p3d] basis set In addition, dipole polansablhtles have also been calculated at the HF and MP2 l
