โœฆ Synopsis

Gastrointestinal endoscopy plays an important diagnostic and therapeutic role in the management of patients with liver disease. This course will cover a variety of topics, ranging from basic issues pertaining to endoscopy in patients with liver disease, to issues related to the use of advanced endoscopic techniques and new technology in this patient group. Faculty will discuss the identification and management of the sequelae of portal hypertension and the management of biliary strictures related to primary sclerosing cholangitis, bile duct injury and cholangiocarcinoma.
