of Ideas new wave of globalization is A transforming nations and organizations. It has little to do with the market economy or industrial expansion; it has everything to do with leadership and management ideas that are sweeping the intellectual landscape.
The sea change is evident in the experience of the Drucker Foundation itself. The Foundation began eight years ago with a simple challenge: how to share wisdom on leadership and management with the leaders of nonprofit social sector organizations. It was thought we would be addressing the leaders of U.S. organizations, but it soon became clear that the issues of managing for the mission and building more responsive, inclusive institutions had worldwide relevance and appeal.
