Christmas is the best time of the year. To me, it's all about family, and with family comes baking.

This book is full of recipes that have been passed down from generation to generation. I've personally been making many of them for over fifty years.

Some have come from my mother, and others from my mother-in-law. Many of those recipes have been passed to them from their mothers and so on. In other words, this is my family's tried, tested, and personal Christmas recipe collection.

Many of these family recipes are accompanied by anecdotes from my childhood, in some cases explaining why they are so special – to me.
