β¦ Synopsis
An approach to the description of damage accumulation in the deformation of an elastoplasticmaterial, based on Il'yushin's ideas in the theory of elastoplastic processes, is proposed. A version of the relations for the damage tensor is formulated, from which the well-known Kolmogorov model follows as a special case. As an example, a class of deformation processes is considered for which the trajectories of the deformations are broken lines with extended links.

The aim of this paper is to construct an averaged stress tensor for a granular media, valid in static and in dynamics, which takes into account the contact reactions and the body forces acting at the grain level. The construction, based on a simple formula of linear algebra, is inspired from the Cau
We demonstrate that the Cartesian multipole interaction tensor may be evaluated with recurrence relations analogous to the McMurchie-Davidson algorithm for calculation of electron repulsion integrals. With these recursion relations all elements of the Cartesian multipole tensor through order 2' may
