✦ Synopsis
A new valveless flmd pump has been designed and tested The pump consists of two fltud dffiserlnozzle elements on each stde of a chamber volume wtth an osctllatmg dtaphragm The vtbratmg diaphragm produces an osctllatmg chamber volume, which together with the two flmd-flow-rectdjmg dtiuserlnozzle elements, creates a one-way fluld flow A nucropump prototype wth a chamber diameter of 19 mm wth comcal dnTuser/nozzle elements has been built and tested The maxmmm hquld flow rate 1s 16 ml/mm and the maximum pump pressure IS 2 m Hz0 The pump frequency IS of the order of 100 Hz
