Abstract
A novel multiβfrequency transformer is developed based on the dual frequency transformer technique. The transmission line analysis shows that for a return loss of β10 dB, the threeβpole transformer can achieve 160% bandwidth when compared with 60% of the dual frequency transformer. For verification, a novel UWB LTCC multilayer transition from CPW to microstrip is developed. Β© 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract A compact microstrip bandβselective filter for ultraβwideband (3.1β10.6 GHz) radio system is proposed. The filter combines an optimum pseudoβbandpass filter and a coupled resonator bandstop filter on both sides of the meandered 50βΞ© microstrip line. Three coupled resonators are modified
