This paper describes a graduate course in which students explored unsolved problems in group theory by computer. This introduced them both to the subject and to the use of computational software in doing research. One outcome was a joint publication by the class.

## Abstract ## INTRODUCTION: Handoffs of patient care are increasingly common and are known to contribute to medical errors. A significant number, if not the large majority, of first‐year Internal Medicine residents have not received formal education pertaining to handoffs during medical school.
