Ahatract-A stochastic approach a fatigue damage of carbon fiber composites (CFRP) is proposed. It is based on the constitutive equation for fatigue damage in continuum damage mechanics. By introducing the stochastic process to this equation, a stochastic differential equation of It6 type is derived.

## AM-In this paper the existing biaxial fatigue theories are reviewed. The effect of isotropy, mean stress, phase angle, and notches on biaxial fatigue is discussed. An approach based on equivalent stress is proposed. The exactness and consistency of this approach is verified with experimental re
In this paper, the non-linear seismic response of arch dams is presented using the concept of Continuum Damage Mechanics (CDM). The analysis is performed using the "nite element technique and appropriate non-linear material and damage models in conjunction with the -algorithm for time marching. Beca
Ah&met-Welded and unwelded specimens of an air-melted laminar composite steel armor were tested for degradation of strength from ballistic impact. Specimens were impacted with cal. 0.30 AP and ball projectiles at various velocities and O-degree obliquity. During impact, specimens were tensile loaded
## Abstract Dentin structure and properties are known to vary with orientation and location. The present study explored the variation in the ultimate tensile strength (UTS) of dentin with location in the tooth. Hourglass specimens were prepared from dentin located in the center, under cusps, and in
