✦ Synopsis

The distribution of stress in the neighborhood of a Griffith crack located asymmetrically in an infinitely long elastic strip is considered. It is a s s u m e d that the edges of the strip are stress free and that the crack is opened by an internal pressure varying along its length. Expressions are derived up to the order of 6 -8, where 26 denotes the thickness of the strip, for the stress intensity factor, the shape of the deformed crack, and the crack energy.

Die Verteilung de S p a n n u n g in der U m g e b u n g eines Griffith RiB der asymmetrisch in einem unendlich langen elastischen Streifen gelegen ist, ist unter Betrachtung. Es wird a n g e n o m m e n dab die Seiten des Streifen nicht unter S p a n n u n g sind, u n d dab der Rig durch eine innerliche S p a n n u n g die der L~inge nach veranderlich ist ge-6ffnet ist. Die Formeln wurden bis z u m 6 -8 Grad abgelitten, wo 26 die Dicke des Streifen bezeichnet, ftir die Spannungintensit~itsfactor, die F o r m des entstellten RiBes und die Ril3energie.
