✦ Synopsis
Psychogenic dystonia is typically recognized by the onset in adulthood of a clenched fist or an inverted ankle with fixed or mobile posture. Common associations include pain, a recent physical injury, and other psychogenic symptoms. 1 We recently observed an intriguing clinical finding regarding perception of ankle position in patients with psychogenic dystonia. We present it as a preliminary observation for further study that may aid diagnosis and/or treatment.
