Nest-t,o-leading order (NLO) &ct,s ou Soffer's t,ransversity bound are st,udied. It1 is sltowu t,hat defining the NLO corrections to the t,ransversity via Drell-Yan lepton-pair production, but, to the uupolarizcd and lougit~udinally polarized dist,ributions via deep inelastic scattering: results in a substantial suppression of the bound for all q = u,d and sea. Moreover assuming that the bound i saturated at Q, * = 4 GeV* and evolving the NLO distributions to Q' > Qi via Zloop split functions, it is shown that the bound is not violated.

This paper presents a new higher-order bounded scheme, weighted-average coefficient ensuring boundedness (WACEB), for approximating the convective fluxes in solving transport equations with the finite volume difference method (FVDM). The weighted-average formulation is used for interpolating the var
