## Abstract Environmental pollution with nitroaromatic compounds may pose health hazards. We have examined the tumorigenicity in female Spragueโ€Dawley rats of 2,7โ€dinitrofluorene (2,7โ€diNF) and 9โ€oxoโ€2,7โ€diNF administered by intraperitoneal (i.p.) and oral routes at 10 ฮผmol/kg body weight, 3 times
