Charlie is horrified, but after the shock wears off, she's intrigued and begins asking questions. Her best friend Mabel tells her to stay out of it before she gets hurt. Charlie becomes frustrated by law enforcement's lack of progress and delves deeper--some would say she's meddling--into the case. Charlie enlists Mabel's help and the two are determined to unmask the Wayside Bay killer--or killers!
