## Abstract Competitive exclusion treatment is able to increase the pathogen colonization resistance of day‐old chicks by applying probiotic bacteria stabilizing the indigenous microflora. In order to develop a safe microbial feed additive, various bacterial strains were isolated out of the gastroi
