✦ Synopsis

A noninvasive method for measuring local tissue blood perfusion rate by the method of surface heat disturbance and its two embodiments are presented in this paper. In the derivation of the mathematical model, the Pennes equation is used, in which two parametersthe arterial blood temperature T a and the metabolic heat generation rate q m that are very difficult to determinehave been previously eliminated. In this paper, the performance and the adaptable condition of the measurement method and its structural peculiarities are discussed over a wide variety of parameters. Moreover, the effectiveness of the measurement method has been demonstrated by means of a quantitative measurement of the tissue in vitro, a comparative measurement of an animal under artificial perfusion, and a dependence measurement in a human body.
