✦ Synopsis
achieved nowadays and the high complexity of modem control units, the test procedures have to cover a wider number of test items in less time. We realized a system which is able to perform the fail safe test by making the conditions automatically, as well as to confirm the ABS control by a real time simulation.
9638662 Development of the Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor with Wide Temperature Range and Rapid Response -Application as a Sensor for OBD-II in the Emission Control System Takashi Tamai, Nobuharn Katsuki, Masahiro Saito, Tsuyoshi Tanaka, Katsunori Matsubara (Matsushita Electronic Components Co., Ltd.) An exhaust gas temperature sensor using thermistor material was developed to achieve a wide temperature band and rapid responsiveness. A new material development and a unique and compact structure design for good heat conduction enabled wide range temperature detection from 300 degC to 1000 degC and a small heat time constant of ¢ = 8.7 seconds. This sensor can be used in new emission control systems such as heated catalyst systems and catalyst efficiency monitoring systems.
