✦ Synopsis

In recent years, biological and natural processes have been increasingly influencing methodologies in science and technology. In particular, the role played by the cooperation among individuals is being studied more frequently and profoundly in diverse areas of knowledge. We present here a multiagent decentralized strategy for dynamic optimization problems where a population of cooperative agents and solutions are used to deal with the moving peaks problem. We focus on cooperation and diversity mechanisms, and we study how different alternatives affect the performance of the strategy.

## Abstract The objective of this work is to develop an efficient strategy for the parametric study of dynamic problems involving contacts with friction. Our approach is based on the multiscale LATIN method with domain decomposition. This is a mixed method that deals with the forces and velocities

## Abstract Family‐based association tests (FBATs) provide simple and powerful tests to detect association between a genetic marker and a disease‐susceptibility locus, manifest in subjects by a phenotype or disease trait. Here we propose a new class of conditional tests for family‐based association

The combined use of a so-called internal standard and the isotope-labeled derivatization reagent for the quantification of analytes for liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC/MS) was further studied. The sample solution (containing the analytes and an internal standard) was derivatized with the
