The spin-Hamiltonian parameters, g factors g J and g ? and hyperfine structure constants 161 A J , 161 A ? , 163 A J and 163 A ? , for Dy 3 + ion at the tetragonal (S 4 ) Ca 2 + site of CaWO 4 crystal are calculated from a diagonalization (of energy matrix) method. In the method, the Zeeman (or magn
