โœฆ Synopsis

A~traet--Bis(acetylsalicylate) copper(lI) and complexes of pyridine-3,4-dicarboxylic acid with cobalt, nickel and copper have been prepared. Bis(acetylsalicylate) copper(II) and the complexes of pyridine-3,4dicarboxylic acid with cobalt and nickel have octahedral structures. The copper complex of pyridine-3,4dicarboxylic has a tetrahedral structure. The performance properties of the complexes as colouring materials for poly(vinyl chloride) and polystyrene have been investigated: weather resistance, light fastness, migration resistance and heat stability have been considered.

The chloro complexes of cobalt, nickel and copper with 2-phenyl-4-quinoline carboxylic acid have stoichiometry MLCI 2 . The complexes which are polymeric have a stereochemistry in which the metal ion is in a six coordinate environment. The decompositions of the complexes have been studied by thermog
