We use high-resolution "zero kinetic energy photoelectron spectroscopy (ZEKE PES)" with two-colour two-photon resonant ionization for the investigation of the benzene-argon van der Waals complex in a supersonic skimmed jet. The ZEKE PE spectrum shows only a single peak of s 8 cm-' fwhm. We conclude
