✦ Synopsis
The indexes of the electronic structure and the steric complementarity were used to propose a number of compounds, theoretically able to react with the phosphoribosylpyrophosphate (PRPP) on the basis of the hypothetical model of the active site of the orotidine-5'-monophosphate pyrophosphorylase suggested earlier by the authors. These compounds are potential analogues-antagonists of the orotic acid.
