✦ Synopsis

In the course of a study of the activity of certain surfaces in promoting reactions involving recombination of free radical it became apparent that these surface reactions were releasing additional free radicals to the gas. The following account describes the investigation of these effects and proposcs certain free-radical reactions to explain the observations. APPARATUS
