β¦ Synopsis
A new view of realization algorithms of the Markov Block Hankel (MBH) type permits un{l~cation of known results, and leads to some attractive new MBH realization algorithms.

The physical de"nition of endogenous inputs (e.g. the synaptic concentration of a neurotransmitter) often is more di$cult to obtain or describe, but is here understood to be ultimately accessi
This paper presents and analyses an iterative process for the numerical realization of contact problems with Coulomb friction which is based on the method of successive approximations combined with a splitting type approach. Numerical examples illustrate the efficiency of this method.
