✦ Synopsis

A study of lithium insertion in W,Nb,,O,, has been carried out. When lithium is inserted following an electrochemical route, several single-phase regions are formed in a reversible reaction. Some lithiated phases included in these regions have been synthesized by chemical reaction and characterized by X-ray powder diffraction.
