β¦ Synopsis
The boundary layer equations describing the conservation of momentum, energy and mass concentration in an axisymmetrical turbulent jet flame are solved for a Lewis number unity in the yon Mises plane. Some measurements of velocity and temperature in liquefied petroleum gas flames are reported and compared with the analytical results yielding rea:.onably good agreem~.at. A method for determining the turbulent exchange coefficients in flames is considered and expressions for flame length and shape are discussed.

The break-point lengths of both the inner fuel jet and outer flame zone were measured as the jet exit Reynolds number was varied b
## Abstract The paper reports on a numerical study of turbulent confined jets in a conical duct with a 5Β° divergence. The flow has a large ratio of jet to ambient velocities at the entrance so that it gives rise to strong recirculation. The calculations are carried out with a general finite volume
