β¦ Synopsis
Several nuclear energy levels in l~aSb populated by the fl-decay of 125 d ao-aSn have been examined. The presence of two states at 1032 and 1089 keV was deduced from studies utilizing a Ge(Li) gamma-ray spectrometer and a third state, at 1187 keV, has been proposed on the basis of gamma-ray coincidence measurements. The fl-spectrum to the 1089 keV state was studied by means of a 4z~ plastic scintillator operating in coincidence with a NaI(TI) gammaray spectrometer..A Fermi-Kurie plot of the spectrum was found to be linear indicating that the transition is either allowed or non-unique first forbidden. The logft value of 9.0 found for this transition tends to support the latter assignment.
