โฆ Synopsis
- A correlation between the different alcoholic dilutions and the effect of their respective vapors on the surface tension of water exists.
2 . Chlorophyllins exert a deodorizing action on the human alcoholic breath both in witro and in viva.
- A method for the determination and evalution of the effect of chlorophyllins, and consequently of any other substance, as a deodorant for the human alcoholic breath has been devised.
Even though the individual response t o chlorophyllins as a deodorant varied to some degree, chlorophyllins reduced alcoholic breath odor in every instance (as high as 60 per cent in one case). Further studies are needed for more critical evaluation. 4. REFERENCES (1) Aideal, E. K.. "An Introduction to Surface Chemistry," (2) Lange. N. A,. "Handbook of Chemistry." Prey species show specific adaptations that allow recognition, avoidance and defense against predators. For many mammalian species this includes sensitivity towards predator-derived odors. The typical sources of such odors include predator skin and fur, urine, feces and anal gland secretions. Avoida
