✦ Synopsis

We deÿne a new stochastic order for random vectors in terms of the inclusion relation for the Aumann expectation of certain random sets. We derive some properties of this order, relate it with other well-known multivariate stochastic convex orders, give a geometrical interpretation in terms of the lift zonoid, build a probability metric based on it and extend it to compare random compact sets. Furthermore, a new characterisation of the linear convex order for random vectors is described and the corresponding concept is extended to compare random compact sets.

In this paper, we deal with a multiobjective 0-1 programming problem involving fuzzy random variable coefficients. Introducing fuzzy goals for the objective functions, we consider the problem to maximize the degrees of possibility that the objective function values satisfy the fuzzy goals, which bec

A methodology is introduced for rapid reduced-order solution of stochastic partial differential equations. On the random domain, a generalized polynomial chaos expansion (GPCE) is used to generate a reduced subspace. GPCE involves expansion of the random variable as a linear combination of basis fun
