✦ Synopsis

This work provides an analysis of the distribution of braehial indices of the normal chromosomes 1, 2 and 3. The experimentally established histograms are given.

A pathologic ease in which one of the two chromosomes 1 is abnormal was compared to these norms.

The heterozygous abnormality of the chromosome 1 showed a highly significant deviation of the distribution for one chromosome of the pair.

Although it was not possible to determine the reasons of this abnormality the examination of the secondary constrictions allows to say that secondary constrictions are significantly more frequent in the abnormal ease, than in normal chromosomes 1.
