โฆ Synopsis
The objective of the paper is to present a statistical model for predicting transport and deposition of high-inertia colliding particles in two-phase turbulent ยฏows. This model is based on a kinetic equation for the probability density function (PDF) of the particle velocity distribution in a turbulent ยฏow ยฎeld. The model developed is applied to the simulation of ยฏuctuating particle motion and deposition in vertical pipe ยฏow.
