✦ Synopsis

Bex hat ein großes Ziel: Sie will unbedingt bei einer Castingshow mitmachen. Zwar hat sie leise Zweifel an ihren Gesangskünsten, doch zusammen mit Matthew, einem begnadeten Gitarristen, scheint ihr Traum zum Greifen nahe. Das Casting läuft allerdings nicht ganz nach Plan. Die Jury ist begeistert – von Matthew. Bex erhält eine herbe Abfuhr. Dabei hat Matthew eigentlich überhaupt kein Interesse an der Show und auch gar keine Zeit, weil er sich um seine kranke Mutter kümmern muss. Also tauschen die beiden kurzerhand die Rollen: Während Matt zum heimlichen Star der Show avanciert, sieht sich Bex einer depressiven und mürrischen Frau gegenüber, die sich strikt weigert, mit dem Rollstuhl das Haus zu verlassen.
