Thermodynamic expressions for the free energy of contact angle hysteresis have been derived assuming that wetting can be modeled as an adsorption-desorption process. The cause of hysteresis is not specified; it could be due to surface imperfections or simply irreversible interaction of the contact l

β¦ Synopsis
A method is presented for calculating the capacitances and inductances per unit angle of circularly curved multiconductor transmission lines in multilayer printed boards. The capacitances and inductances of the 90Π sector of the axially symmetrical structure are used for modeling a multipin connector analyzed with SPICE. By introducing the Kronecker product, the method becomes simple in programming, even for a great ( number of layers. The present paper is a first step to combining the 2D-FD finite-) ( ) difference method and the MOL method of lines .

A series of equations have been proposed to calculate take-o β angle dependency of the elemental composition of layer-structured models from the experimentally obtained peak intensities of XPS. We have measured the take-o β angle dependency of XPS peaks of O 1s, C 1s, Si 2p and Cd 3d from a well-cha
