## Abstract The tensile force‐contraction characteristics of cross‐linked reconstituted collagen fibers have been studied for 30 different water‐soluble reagents. The data were obtained via a β€œpolytonic” loading technique, which was neither isometric nor isotonic. Certain data were found to fit a m
