## Abstract Approximate equations for the operating frequencies of a single Uβslot microstrip patch antenna are presented based on the surfaceβcurrent distribution analysis on a microstrip patch. They are accurate within 5%.βΒ© 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 32: 333β335, 200
This work looks at the use of wideband cavity-backed U-slot microstrip antennas in finite phased arrays. This configuration retains the single-patch and single-layer characteristics of conventional microstrip antenna arrays and provides a good impedance matching over wider scan angles when electrica
## Abstract A thin (only 5% of the operating wavelength, Ξ») wideband microstrip patch antenna with two closely spaced slots is introduced. When connected to each other, the two slots translate into two distinct resonant frequencies, resulting in wide impedance bandwidth (about 20% within 2:1 VSWR).
a simple SSFIP antenna, has a broad bandwidth for both frequency bands, good radiation patterns and gains which make it a choice solution for indoor and mobile applications, and an excellent decoupling between input ports. Its very simple structure makes it a good candidate for industrial mass produ
