This paper compares the homotopy perturbation method with the sine-cosine wavelet method for solving linear integrodifferential equations. From the computational viewpoint, the homotopy perturbation method is more efficient and easier than the sine-cosine wavelet method.
In this paper, the (N + 1)-dimensional sine-cosine-Gordon equations are studied. The existence of solitary wave, kink and anti-kink wave, and periodic wave solutions are proved, by using the method of bifurcation theory of dynamical systems. All possible bounded exact explicit parametric representat
A new type of two-wave solution, homoclinic breather-wave solution, for (1 + 1)D Sine-Gordon (SG) equation is obtained using the extended homoclinic test method. Moreover, the mechanical feature of two-wave solution is investigated, and the dynamical behavior of solution is exhibited.
The modified equal width equation and two of its variants are investigated. The strategy here rests mainly on a sine-cosine ansatz and the tanh method. Both schemes work well and reveal exact solutions with distinct physical structures. The obtained solutions include compactons, solitons, solitary p
