A seeding method was applied to the processing method of YBa2Cu408 superconducting oxide ( 124 phase). Seed of the 124 phase was prepared by the HIP process. Seed with 25 wt.% was mixed with the matrix oxide prepared by decomposition of nitric salt. They were pressed and fired at 850Β°C under oxygen

dP of YBa2Cu408 single crystals has been measured up to 9 GPa under hydrostatic pressure. The large and positive initial value (dTc/dP)o= 5.5 K/GPa is confirmed. To(P) saturates above 5 GPa. Dramatic changes, in the Tc(P) behavior are observed when the pressure is non-hydrostatic. They are caused by
