โฆ Synopsis
A recently developed theory of fuel spray burning [1] is applied to the experiments of Nuruzzaman, Hedley and Bedr [3] on linear arrays of burning fuel droplets. The calculated burning rates have the right order of magnitude but are too strongly dependent on the initial droplet diameter and on the interdroplet separation as compared to the above mentioned experiments.
