Abstract

A simple apparatus to maintain tissues samples at sub‐zero temperatures during dehydration, infiltration, and polymerization is described. The device uses a conventional siphon‐type carbon dioxide gas cylinder to maintain an aluminum block at temperatures as low as −35°C for over 15 hours/cylinder. Microsc. Res.
