โฆ Synopsis
The present work describes the construction of a digital thermometer following the principal of conversion of diode forward-resistance into corresponding frequency using a voltage controlled oscillator circuit (VCO)) -4 It may be noted that using a stable and sensitive VCO, it is easy to convert the forward resistance of a diode into frequency which can be displayed in a digital frequency counter. Using this circuit, high resolution and a fast temperature response have been achieved, s
