A novel method to generate body-fitted grids based on the direct solution for three scalar functions is derived. The solution for scalar variables x, p and n is obtained with a conventional finite volume method based on a physical space formulation. The grid is adapted or re-zoned to eliminate the r

β¦ Synopsis
This paper presents a simple grid generation method which adopts the uni-directional interpolation idea but only interpolates one co-ordinate between two opposite boundaries. The use of this new scheme showed that (a) it is convenient to use; and (b) compared with the built-in grid generator of certain commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code, it saves time significantly.

This article describes a computational method to calculate solutions of elliptic boundary value problems using arbitrary irregular grids. The main feature of the numerical method is its ability to approximate solutions of differential equations without co-ordinate mapping or metric tensor informatio
This paper describes the logic of a dynamic algorithm for a general 2D Delaunay triangulation of arbitrarily prescribed interior and boundary nodes. The complexity of the geometry is completely arbitrary. The scheme is free of specific restrictions on the input of the geometrical data. The scheme ge
Every instructor realizes how hard it is to make clear to students the deep or inner structures of the brain. It is difficult to give them a lucid description of even the simpler and more superficial parts, but when it comes to explaining the intricate mechanism, it is an almost hopeless task. Effo
