This paper describes a simple graphical approach for pressure determination using a conventional McLeod gauge. This method also permits a simultaneous detection of the presence of condensable vapours and gases present in the gauge or the system. The pressures thus determined are compared with those obtained by using the variable compression technique as applied by Podgursky and Davis".
