โฆ Synopsis
A small fermentor has been designed for the growth of the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae under strictly anaerobic conditions. The system can be used for IO-to 50-ml batches of anaerobic culture. The design allows the observation of growth without taking samples from the culture and is especially useful for labeling yeast cells with radioactive isotopes under anaerobic conditions.
