✦ Synopsis

A description and a drawing are given for a very simple device for quantitative sampling of small invertebrates living among aquatic macrophytes . It consists essentially of a vertical translucide tube closed down by a bottom sediment core. Some results are given about cladocerans and copepods sampled among littoral vegetation of a fishpond .
