## Abstract Expression of proinflammatory molecules by glial cells is involved in the pathophysiological changes associated with chronic neurological diseases. Under pathological conditions, astrocytes release a number of proinflammatory molecules, such as interleukin‐6 (IL‐6) and interferon‐γ‐indu
