✦ Synopsis
Transference numbers For CM.3 in water at 25'C at concentrations of 0.02, 0.@4,0.06 and 0.10 equiv.dm-3 were measured by the moving boundary method, comparing them against the data from the avaitable literature. Because transference numbers for both ions were measured in each concentration, optimum values&,,. werecalculated.
By applying theoretical equations,TvsC, to these optimumvalues. the limiting transference numbers, TO, were determined. From these To values the ionic limiting conductance for caesium ions was obtained and compared with the values derived from studies by other authors.
