✦ Synopsis

After a short historical introduction, the basic data about the content, crosssection and morphology of thick film glaze resistors (TFRs) is given. The second part of the paper presents a review of the known conductive mechanisms in TFRs and resisitivity dependence on conductive phase content. The currently accepted explanation of temperature properties, noise, high electric field, and ageing features of TFRs is given too.
