## Abstract One of the forms of the insulin‐like growth factor (IGF) binding proteins present in human amniotic fluid has been shown to potentiate the growth‐promoting effect of IGF‐I markedly. This study was undertaken to determine the cellular and hormonal factors that modulate this potentiation
