✦ Synopsis
The fracture mechanism implied in this paper is indeed applicable to lightweight and polymer concrete, and has been developed in another investigation by the author.
The comments for the influence of entrapped air on the strength of composites should be appreciated. However, the author wishes to add the following remarks to them. The composites "C-SS", "G-SS" should be incomparable in mechical properties with the other composites because the size distribution of the aggregate "SS" is quite different from those of the others. The data of C-PB-60 should be eliminated from Table 3, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3. The following reference should be added:
